Mero sano murali…
These are just a few examples that Nepali listeners remember them for. Another fun number – Deurali ka thiti ho nakkala parnu pardaina… adds on to the list.
The duo's identity would be incomplete if a theatre play is not mentioned here. Known as one of the most successful plays in Nepal – Ani Deurali Runcha… could be credited to have established Kumar Subba and Karma Yonzon in the Nepali music scene. Written and directed by Mana Bahadur Mukhiya, Ani Deurali Runcha was backed with beautiful composition from Karma Yonzon and vocals from Kumar Subba.
After 1972 when this play was staged with much success, a series of other plays followed.

All of these had musical contribution from the Kumar – Karma duo.
